Last 2 days have been very long days with eyes glued to the NOS journal and world news on the updates of Coronavirus. As many of you have probably heard, as per government’s instruction, we will need to close The Movement Practice at least until 6 April. 

Luckily we are in 2020 and even though we have to close our facility, we are dedicated to keep you sound and sane!

Running cards for both group and private classes will be extended after reopening, to compensate for the missed days TMP was closed. Memberships will be frozen and reactivated as soon as we can offer our classes as usual. We will keep you updated on the developments, so no need to take any action yourself.

Group classes
We have implemented regular online interactive mat classes with your own teachers. We advise you to keep an eye on Mindbody, as all online group classes will be added there, and sign up will work as usual. You can either use your mat card credits or buy credits specifically for the online classes. 

Private classes
We are happy to mention that we can also facilitate online private (mat) sessions with your own private teacher. If you are interested, kindly contact your own teacher to book a class and receive login instructions.

While we are committed to offer you the best experience, we also understand that off site classes might present less of a service. We haven’t come up with a perfect solution yet therefore we thought we would leave it up to each one’s judgment if a discount is needed or not. Talk to your teacher about either using your regular private credits or ask them about the discounted sessions.

The teachers and TMP personnel will already suffer from less activity when all their costs stay the same. But we do understand that some will feel it fair to pay less. What is fair is subjective and therefore we don’t want to judge anyone so please be open about how you feel in order to find the best solution for everyone.

As of tomorrow we offer online mat classes with your regular teachers. Sign in through Mind Body and you receive an email with the class invite.

You can join these classes with your regular mat card or purchase credits specifically for the online class (10 euro for a single class, 3 online mat classes for 24 euro).

Join a free mat class on Saturday’s during the summer. We have apprentice teachers who are keen to teach, have finished their BASI training modules and love to practice and expand their teaching.

Target your specific needs with a 1 on 1 session with an Apprentice teacher. Following the BASI Block System and incorporating various Pilates apparatuses you receive full body work out.

Apprentices are students who have completed BASI Pilates Foundation Program, they are progressing through the Graduate Program and working toward completing their certification.

All highly skilled Apprentices here at The Movement Practice Pilates Studio have auditioned and their teaching ability meets the level of quality expected from BASI Pilates’ headquarters.
