After being a dancer and choreographer, I decided to shift my focus more towards the internal physical movement ans studied shiatsu, at the Zen shiatsu school in Amsterdam. I am currently working as a shiatsu therapist and a chi kung teacher in the Da cheng chuan zhan zhuang style, still strongly connected to the physical body, to motion and movement of the body-mind. In my classes I try to bring the awareness to our inner landscape. Chi kung helps building more resilience to everyday life challenges, physically, mentally and emotionally. Feeling more grounded, settled, centred are the ground principles we will focus on in the classes, but partner work (pushing hands) and concepts like the five elements postured, and stretches will also be looked into.
